Taita Hills is a spectacular wildlife destination in Kenya where you can experience the African wilderness by day and after dark. This two-day safari combines exciting game drives with an unforgettable night safari accompanied by a ranger<\/strong>, giving you the opportunity to witness nocturnal wildlife and observe the fascinating activity of the savannah after sunset.<\/p>\n

Day 1: Your Hotel to Taita Hills<\/h2>\n

Your 2-Day Taita Hills Safari<\/strong> begins with an early morning pick-up from your resort or apartment at 5:30 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We set off towards Taita Hills, travelling along the scenic Kaloleni road<\/strong>, an area associated with the filming of the famous movie Out of Africa<\/em>. Enjoy beautiful views along the journey, including coconut palms, banana plantations and acacia trees as we travel through the Kenyan countryside.<\/p>\n

We expect to arrive at the Taita Hills Reserve at approximately 9:30 AM<\/strong>, where your first game drive begins.<\/p>\n

Morning Game Drive<\/h3>\n

Explore the reserve until approximately 1:00 PM<\/strong>, searching for wildlife and enjoying the spectacular landscapes of Taita Hills.<\/p>\n

After the morning game drive, we head to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Your accommodation is at a unique lodge built on stilts, offering a memorable setting surrounded by the natural beauty of the area.<\/p>\n

Afternoon Game Drive<\/h3>\n

At approximately 4:00 PM<\/strong>, we head out for another game drive.<\/p>\n

Continue exploring the reserve as the afternoon progresses, searching for wildlife and enjoying the changing scenery until sunset.<\/p>\n

After the game drive, we return to the lodge for dinner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Night Safari with a Ranger<\/h3>\n

At approximately 7:00 PM<\/strong>, the adventure continues with a night safari accompanied by a ranger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After sunset, the savannah takes on a completely different atmosphere. Many animals become active at night, offering the opportunity to observe nocturnal wildlife and experience the bush from a new perspective.<\/p>\n

Depending on wildlife activity, you may witness fascinating scenes of animals hunting and other nocturnal behaviour.<\/p>\n

The night safari continues until approximately 9:00 PM<\/strong>, after which we return to the lodge for an overnight stay.<\/p>\n

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Return to Your Hotel<\/h1>\n

Start the second day with an early morning game drive through Taita Hills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At approximately 6:00 AM<\/strong>, we set off for another early game drive, exploring the reserve until around 8:30 AM<\/strong>. The morning offers another opportunity to enjoy the scenery and spot wildlife before leaving Taita Hills. We go back to the lodge for breakfast.<\/p>\n

Return to your hotel<\/h3>\n

At approximately 9:30 AM<\/strong>, we leave Taita Hills and begin our journey towards Watamu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Enjoy the changing landscapes along the way as we travel back towards the coast.<\/p>\n

We expect to arrive at your hotel approximately 1:30 PM<\/strong>, around lunchtime.<\/p>\n

Your 2-Day Taita Hills Safari with Night Safari<\/strong> comes to an end after an exciting wildlife adventure both during the day and after dark.<\/p>\n
