In addition to Taita Hills, Ngutuni Game Reserve<\/strong> is one of the wildlife destinations in Kenya where you can enjoy the special experience of a night safari<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This 3-day itinerary combines the wildlife of Ngutuni with the vast wilderness of Tsavo East National Park<\/strong>, giving you the opportunity to experience game drives during the day and after sunset.<\/p>\n

ITINERARY<\/h2>\n

DAY 1: Ngutuni Game Reserve<\/h3>\n

Departure from your resort or apartment at approximately 5:30 AM<\/strong>, heading towards Ngutuni along the scenic Kaloleni road<\/strong>, an area associated with the filming of the famous movie Out of Africa<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Enjoy beautiful views of the Kenyan countryside along the way, including coconut palms, banana plantations and acacia trees.<\/p>\n

We expect to arrive at Ngutuni Game Reserve at approximately 9:30 AM<\/strong>, where your first game drive begins.<\/p>\n

Morning Game Drive<\/h3>\n

Explore the reserve until approximately 12:30 PM<\/strong>, searching for wildlife and enjoying the natural surroundings.<\/p>\n

After the morning game drive, we head to the lodge for lunch and relaxation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Afternoon Game Drive<\/h3>\n

At approximately 4:00 PM<\/strong>, we set off for another game drive through the reserve.<\/p>\n

Continue exploring Ngutuni as the afternoon progresses, with the drive continuing until sunset.<\/p>\n

We then return to the lodge for dinner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ngutuni Night Safari<\/h3>\n

At approximately 7:00 PM<\/strong>, we head out for an exciting night safari<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After dark, the reserve takes on a completely different atmosphere. Many animals become active at night, offering the opportunity to observe nocturnal wildlife and experience the African bush from a different perspective.<\/p>\n

The night safari continues until approximately 9:00 PM<\/strong>, after which we return to the lodge for the night.<\/p>\n

DAY 2: Ngutuni to Tsavo East<\/h3>\n

After breakfast, we depart at approximately 7:00 AM<\/strong> for another morning game drive in Ngutuni.<\/p>\n

The game drive continues until approximately 9:30 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We then leave Ngutuni and continue towards Tsavo East National Park<\/strong>, one of Kenya’s largest national parks, covering approximately 13,747 square kilometres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At approximately 9:50 AM<\/strong>, we begin our first game drive in Tsavo East.<\/p>\n

Morning Game Drive and Lunch<\/h3>\n

Explore the park until approximately 1:00 PM<\/strong>, searching for wildlife and taking in the spectacular Tsavo landscape.<\/p>\n

We then proceed to your selected lodge or tented camp<\/strong> for lunch and relaxation.<\/p>\n

Both accommodation options are located close to a waterhole<\/strong>, where animals regularly come to drink, creating excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.<\/p>\n

Afternoon Game Drive<\/h3>\n

At approximately 4:00 PM<\/strong>, we head out for another game drive.<\/p>\n

Explore Tsavo East until sunset, enjoying the changing landscapes and looking for wildlife as the afternoon cools.<\/p>\n

After sunset, we return to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

DAY 3: Final Tsavo East Game Drive and Return<\/h3>\n

At approximately 6:30 AM<\/strong>, we depart for another early morning game drive in Tsavo East.<\/p>\n

The early morning is an excellent time for wildlife viewing, as many animals are more active around sunrise and the cooler temperatures make game viewing particularly enjoyable.<\/p>\n

At approximately 9:50 AM<\/strong>, we leave Tsavo East and begin the journey back towards your resort or apartment.<\/p>\n

We expect to arrive at approximately 1:00 PM<\/strong>, around lunchtime.<\/p>\n

During the return journey, there may be opportunities to stop at local villages along the route and experience more of the Kenyan countryside.<\/p>\n
