This safari combines exceptional game viewing, dramatic landscapes and the chance to see some of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife, including the famous Great Migration in the Masai Mara during the peak migration months.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Depart in the morning from Nairobi and travel towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

If you visit during July, August or September, you may witness the spectacular Great Migration as wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and antelopes move from the Serengeti into the Masai Mara. In December and January, the migration takes place in the opposite direction. These months offer some of the most exciting opportunities to experience the wildlife spectacle.

During your safari, you may see hundreds of animals searching for food and crossing rivers, while crocodiles and big cats wait for opportunities to hunt. Hyenas and vultures gather nearby, waiting for the remains left behind by predators. It is a truly unforgettable natural spectacle.

Continue to Narok, a welcoming provincial town and the main gateway to the Masai Mara, where you will stop for lunch.

After lunch, continue towards the Masai Mara and begin your first game drive, continuing until sunset.

Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

DAY 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari

Start the day at 6:30 AM after breakfast.

Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the Masai Mara and its rich wildlife habitats. A packed lunch box will be provided, allowing you to enjoy lunch in the middle of the savannah without interrupting your safari.

Continue exploring the reserve throughout the afternoon before heading back after sunset.

Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

DAY 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Depart at 6:30 AM after breakfast and travel towards Lake Nakuru.

Arrive at your lodge at approximately 12:00 PM, where you will have lunch and some time to relax.

At 3:30 PM, set out for an afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru, a destination renowned for its rhinos and large numbers of pink flamingos.

Continue the safari until approximately 6:30 PM, returning to the lodge after sunset for dinner and overnight accommodation.

DAY 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli

Depart at 6:30 AM and travel towards Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most spectacular safari destinations.

Amboseli offers magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, whose dramatic presence creates an unforgettable backdrop to the surrounding landscapes and wildlife.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp at approximately 1:00 PM for lunch and relaxation.

At 3:30 PM, head out for an afternoon game drive through Amboseli, exploring the park and its wildlife until sunset.

Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

DAY 5: Amboseli – Tsavo East

Depart at 6:30 AM after breakfast for an early morning game drive.

Continue your safari until approximately 8:00 AM, then leave Amboseli and travel towards Tsavo East National Park, the largest national park in Kenya.

Arrive in the Tsavo East area at approximately 12:00 PM and begin your game drive at 1:00 PM, continuing towards your lodge or tented camp.

Stop for lunch and some time to relax before heading out again at 4:00 PM for an afternoon game drive.

Continue exploring Tsavo East until sunset, then return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: Tsavo East – Watamu / Malindi / Mombasa

Depart at 6:30 AM after breakfast for your final morning game drive.

Enjoy one last opportunity to see wildlife in Tsavo East before leaving the park at approximately 10:00 AM.

Continue your journey towards Watamu, Malindi or Mombasa, with arrival expected around lunchtime.
