Taita Hills is a beautiful wildlife destination in Kenya where you can enjoy the unique experience of a night safari accompanied by a ranger. After sunset, the savannah comes alive in a completely different way, offering the opportunity to witness nocturnal wildlife, including animals that prefer to move and hunt after dark.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Departure from your resort or apartment at 5:30 AM, heading towards Taita Hills.

Arrival at the reserve at approximately 10:30 AM, followed by the first game drive until around 1:00 PM.

After the game drive, we arrive at a lodge built on stilts for lunch and some time to relax.

At approximately 4:00 PM, we set off for another game drive, continuing until sunset.

We then return to the lodge for dinner.

At approximately 7:00 PM, the night safari accompanied by a ranger begins. Experience the reserve after dark and discover the fascinating nocturnal side of the African wilderness.

The night safari continues until approximately 9:00 PM, after which we return to the lodge for overnight accommodation.

DAY 2

After breakfast, departure at approximately 6:00 AM for another game drive until around 9:00 AM.

We then leave Taita Hills and continue towards Tsavo East, one of Kenya’s largest national parks.

We do a game drive enroute to the selected lodge or tented camp for lunch and relaxation. Both accommodation options are located close to a waterhole where animals regularly come to drink, giving you the opportunity to observe wildlife nearby.

At approximately 3:45 PM, we set off for another afternoon game drive, exploring Tsavo East until sunset.

We then return to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Overnight: Lodge or tented camp in Tsavo East.

DAY 3

Departure at approximately 6:30 AM after breakfast.

Enjoy your final game drive in Tsavo East until approximately 10:00 AM. The park entrance ticket is valid for 24 hours.

We then leave the park and begin the journey back to your resort or apartment, with arrival expected at approximately 1:00 PM, around lunchtime.
