The journey takes you from the scenic Taita Hills to the wildlife-rich plains of Amboseli, followed by the dramatic landscapes of Tsavo West and the vast wilderness of Tsavo East.
The itinerary combines morning and afternoon game drives with a memorable ranger-guided night safari in Taita Hills, giving you the opportunity to experience Kenya’s wildlife both during the day and after sunset.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: Taita Hills & Night Safari
Departure from your resort, hotel or apartment at approximately 5:30 AM, heading towards Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
We travel through the Kenyan countryside, enjoying the changing scenery along the way.
We expect to arrive at the reserve at approximately 10:30 AM, where we begin our first game drive.
Morning Game Drive
Explore Taita Hills until approximately 1:00 PM, searching for wildlife while enjoying the spectacular scenery of the sanctuary.
After the game drive, we head to a unique lodge built on stilts for lunch and some time to relax.
Afternoon Game Drive
At approximately 4:00 PM, we set off for another game drive through the reserve.
Continue exploring Taita Hills until sunset before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Night Safari
At approximately 7:00 PM, we head out for an exciting night game drive accompanied by a ranger.
After dark, the reserve takes on a completely different atmosphere. Many animals become active at night, giving you the opportunity to experience the nocturnal side of the African wilderness.
The night safari continues until approximately 9:00 PM, after which we return to the lodge for overnight accommodation.

DAY 2: Taita Hills to Amboseli
After breakfast, departure at approximately 6:30 AM for another game drive in Taita Hills.
Continue exploring the sanctuary until approximately 9:30 AM, enjoying one final opportunity to see wildlife before leaving the area.
We then continue towards Amboseli National Park.
We expect to arrive at approximately 12:30 PM, proceeding directly to the selected lodge or tented camp for lunch and relaxation.
Mount Kilimanjaro & Afternoon Game Drive
Amboseli is famous for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, which rises dramatically above the surrounding savannah.
After lunch and some time to relax, we depart at approximately 3:00 PM for an afternoon game drive.
Explore the wildlife-rich plains of Amboseli while enjoying the spectacular scenery and, weather permitting, views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The game drive continues until sunset before we return to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Overnight: Lodge or tented camp in Amboseli.
DAY 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West
After breakfast, departure at approximately 6:30 AM for an early morning game drive in Amboseli.
Continue exploring the park until approximately 9:00 AM, taking advantage of the cooler morning hours when wildlife is often active.
We then leave Amboseli and travel towards Tsavo West National Park.
Upon arrival, we continue with our safari and explore the park’s diverse landscapes of mountains, plains, lakes and natural springs.
Mzima Springs
One of the highlights of Tsavo West is Mzima Springs, a beautiful natural water source known for its clear waters and abundant wildlife.
The springs are home to hippos, crocodiles, fish and numerous bird species, making the area a fascinating place to explore.
Depending on conditions and access, the springs can also be explored on foot with the assistance of park rangers.
After the visit, we proceed to the selected lodge or tented camp for lunch and relaxation.
Afternoon Game Drive
At approximately 4:00 PM, we set off for an afternoon game drive through Tsavo West.
Explore the park until sunset, searching for wildlife and enjoying the dramatic scenery of this unique wilderness.
After sunset, we return to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Overnight: Lodge or tented camp in Tsavo West.
DAY 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East
After breakfast, departure at approximately 6:30 AM for a morning game drive through Tsavo West.
Enjoy one final opportunity to explore the park and encounter wildlife before continuing towards Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest protected wilderness areas.
Upon arrival in Tsavo East, we begin our game drive, exploring the vast savannah and searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and predators.
We then proceed to the selected lodge or tented camp for lunch and relaxation.
The accommodation is located close to a waterhole where animals regularly come to drink, offering another opportunity for wildlife viewing.
Afternoon Game Drive
At approximately 3:45 PM, we head back into the park for an afternoon game drive.
Explore Tsavo East until sunset, enjoying the vast landscapes and searching for wildlife as the afternoon cools.
We then return to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Overnight: Lodge or tented camp in Tsavo East.
DAY 5: Final Tsavo East Game Drive and Return
After breakfast, departure at approximately 6:30 AM for your final game drive in Tsavo East.
Continue exploring the park until approximately 10:30 AM, making the most of your final opportunity to encounter wildlife.
We then leave Tsavo East and begin the journey back towards your village, resort or apartment.
Arrival is expected at approximately 1:00 PM, around lunchtime.
Your 5-Day Taita Hills, Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East Safari comes to an end after an incredible journey through four of Kenya’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.
