From the open savannah of the Masai Mara to the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the unique atmosphere of Taita Hills after dark and the vast landscapes of Tsavo East, this itinerary combines diverse wildlife experiences with unforgettable African scenery.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Depart in the morning from Nairobi Airport or your hotel and travel towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

Around lunchtime, arrive in Narok, a welcoming provincial town and the main gateway to the Masai Mara, where you will stop for lunch.

After lunch, continue towards the Masai Mara and begin your first game drive, exploring the reserve until sunset.

Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

DAY 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari

Depart at 6:30 AM after breakfast for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara.

Enjoy an extensive game drive through the reserve, with a stop for a packed lunch in the middle of the savannah.

Continue exploring the Masai Mara throughout the afternoon before returning after sunset.

Dinner and overnight accommodation at the lodge or tented camp.

DAY 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Depart at 6:30 AM after breakfast and travel towards Lake Nakuru, famous for its rhinos and large numbers of pink flamingos.

Arrive at approximately 12:00 PM and proceed directly to your lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

At 3:30 PM, set out for an afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru, continuing until sunset.

Return to the lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight accommodation.

DAY 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli

Depart at 6:30 AM and travel towards Amboseli National Park.

Amboseli is renowned for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, creating an impressive backdrop across the savannah and wildlife-rich landscapes.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp at approximately 1:00 PM for lunch and relaxation.

At 3:30 PM, head out for an afternoon game drive through Amboseli and continue until sunset.

Return to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

DAY 5: Amboseli – Taita Hills

Depart at 6:30 AM for your final morning game drive in Amboseli.

Continue exploring the park until approximately 8:30 AM, then travel towards Taita Hills, where you will have the opportunity to experience an exciting night safari accompanied by a ranger.

A night safari provides a completely different experience of the African bush. You may witness nocturnal hunting activity and encounter animals that prefer to move through the savannah after sunset.

Arrive at the Taita Hills reserve at approximately 11:00 AM and begin your game drive.

After the game drive, enjoy lunch and some time to relax at a lodge built on stilts.

At 4:00 PM, head out for another game drive, continuing until sunset.

Return to the lodge for dinner.

At 7:00 PM, the night safari begins, accompanied by a ranger. Explore the reserve after dark and look out for wildlife becoming active during the night.

At approximately 9:00 PM, return to the lodge for overnight accommodation.

DAY 6: Taita Hills – Tsavo East

Depart at 6:30 AM for another morning game drive in Taita Hills.

Continue your safari until approximately 11:00 AM, then leave Taita Hills and travel towards Tsavo East National Park, the largest national park in Kenya.

Arrive at approximately 11:40 AM and begin a game drive, continuing until around 1:00 PM.

Proceed to your lodge or tented camp for lunch and relaxation. The accommodation is located near a waterhole where animals come to drink, offering an excellent setting for observing wildlife.

At 4:00 PM, head out for another afternoon game drive and continue exploring Tsavo East until sunset.

Return to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

DAY 7: Tsavo East – Watamu / Malindi / Mombasa

Depart at 6:30 AM after breakfast for your final morning game drive.

Enjoy one last safari through Tsavo East until approximately 10:00 AM, then leave the park.

Continue towards Watamu, Malindi or Mombasa, with arrival expected around lunchtime.

This marks the end of your safari.
